Preflashed BIOS chips are available for most Shuttle mainboards and PCs.
Shuttle BIOS Reference
Shuttle provide very good support for their products. However they do have lots of similar models with different motherboard revisions or versions. Take care and make sure you pick the correct update for your Shuttle PC. If you have an OEM Shuttle board, back up the BIOS code before programming the new code to the board.

Shuttle BIOS Chip Replacement
If you need a replacement BIOS chip or flash ROM for a Shuttle PC, you can buy using the buttons below or from the Home Page or the Payment Page. In some cases a different makers part may be used. SPI Serial flash parts such as the A25L80P-F, 25X80VAIZ and other 8Mb SPI flash parts can be replaced with the MX25L8005PC-15G

SP35 P2 Pro-SPI Serial FlashThe SP35P2 series uses an SPI Serial Flash PDIP part. They can be fitted with the ESMT 50 F25L008A which is an 8 Pin 8 Meg PDIP device. An SPI Serial Flash PDIP part from Winbond or MX will replace the ESMT part, and we have the MX part in stock. Most SPI serial flash EEPROM from different makers are totally interchangeable if the same capacity, as they conform to the same standards. Some SPI Serial Flash parts offer faster access times than others and that is about the only difference between them We are able to supply the Winbond W25X80VDAIZ or the MX25L8005PC as a replacement for the ESMT part above. |
