ISP-SPI Serial Flash Programming

We offer a programming service for Motherboards that have an spi header and soldered SPI Serial flash eeprom. Standard cost is £12.49 plus return postage at cost. We have devoted in house programmers that can be used to reprogram these motherboards using the SPI header if you have one fitted.

Some economy motherboards do not have the SPI header fitted and therefore cannot be reprogrammed in this fashion.
Other options are available in this case, if we have to lift the EEPROM for reprogramming then the cost is £19.99 plus return postage at cost.

If you live abroad and have a soldered SPI serial flash EEPROM in need of programming, then the cheapest option is purchase a programmed part and have it fitted by your local electronics workshop.
Depending on your location, shipping of mainboard's can be expensive.

PDIP SPI Serial Flash Programming

PDIP SPI serial flash EEPROM are normally removable and all one has to do is either order a replacement part or send in your old part for programming, parts are normally returned same or next day.

Soldered SOIC SPI Serial flash Programming

Mainboard's with soldered SPI Serial Flash EEPROM normally have an SPI header fitted which can be used for reprogramming the EEPROM in place on the mainboard in most cases. If your board does have an SPI header then turn around is same or next day.

Economy Mainboard's sometimes do not have the header fitted and in some cases we would need to lift the EEPROM for reprogramming. If your board doesn't have an SPI header fitted then the turn around is 24 hours

SPI-ISP Programmers

Devoted ISP-SPI programmers are available if you should need one. They are only really practical if you have a number of boards to reprogram. If you only need to restore 1 x Mainboard then the cost is inhibitive. P.O. A.
