EEPROM Programming

We offer a programming service for PC Flash BIOS and other machines that use a Flash type EEPROM.

We are able to program most common chips used in PC BIOS application's, including PLCC 32, SPI Serial flash, DIP, PDIP, SOIC 4mm SOIC 5mm and VSOP, TSOP types

PLCC Devices

We program mainly 32 pin PLCC devices at present as these seem to be the most common types used nowadays for PC BIOS.
Only the Flash EEPROM types can be programmed. The earlier EPROM types in this package are normally OTP devices, and cannot be reprogrammed as they have no erase window. Although there are types available that do have an erase window and can be programmed.

TSOP, VSOP

We are able to program 48, 40 and 32 Pin TSOP - VSOP devices. Many other types of EEPROM, or EPROM devices can be programmed if a suitable adapter can be obtained or supplied.

Dip or DIL Devices

We can program most devices in this package up to 48 Pin. We only have a few of these in stock. In most cases you would have to supply your own EEPROM assuming of course I don't have one, check with us first as we have a few but the numbers are dwindling and I cant really see me restocking this type unless there is a demand.

SPI Serial Flash

We are able to program the SPI serial flash SOIC chips if you need one. We have a few types in stock.

It is possible to program the SOIC devices in place on the motherboard board using an ISP header lead, providing your board has the ISP header plug.

EEPROM's

These devices are electrically erased and are replacing the earlier EPROM types.

EPROM

We can program and erase the EPROM devices if you need them reprogrammed or blanked. We do have a few here if you need one as replacement for repair purposes.
