RJ45 Network Leads

Network leads can be posted. All leads, are pre-checked before dispatch. Please state whether you want a crossover lead or a straight through lead, and also length required. 1M to 4M @ £3.50 each plus Postage.

Any other lengths can be made up to order. Please add 70 pence per meter for anything over 4 meters. All leads are made up from solid drawn cable, colour gray, low fume cable in purple also. Flexible patch leads also available @ £2.75 ea.

Plug terminations are numbered from left to right. Number 1 is on the left. The plug would be fitted from the top with the retainer clip below.

RJ45 Standards

T568A Standard

Straight through leads use the same standard for both ends of the cable. Either Standard can be used.

Cross Over leads use T568A on one end and T568B on the other.
Cross over leads are normally used for peer to peer, i.e. connecting two machines together without a network hub.
