Our example utilized an OEM First International computers motherboard i.e. the FIC P4M-915GDI. The board also had another sticker with the following text IIA3SPX 1600.
We are able to supply a CMOS part for this particular Elonex machine. The Elonex Artisan LX Deluxe. Our example used the PMC PM49FL004T as the flash bios or CMOS part.
The standard FIC P4M-915 bios from FIC does not boot this motherboard you have to use the OEM BIOS from Elonex to successfully restore the BIOS if you should have a failed flash.
Back up your BIOS code first before trying to update the BIOS on this or any other Elonex PC or media centre.
The BIOS ROM files are not available from the maker as they have gone into receivership. The images below were provided by one of our customers who used the service to finally restore her Artisan LX Deluxe .
