Micro Star MS-7280 ISP Header

Microstar International along with most other main stream retail makers are starting to utilise the SPI serial flash EEPROM's. The first examples we have seen here use SOIC 8 Pin EEPROM's with an adjacent ISP header.

SPI Header

The MSI motherboard MS-7280 Ver: 1.0 uses a SOIC 8 Pin SPI Serial Flash EEPROM as a CMOS or BIOS part. This motherboard also has a 9 pin ISP header located near the CMOS/BIOS on the motherboard. The board can be reprogrammed using this header, if you have a suitable programmer.

Programming

We have devoted inhouse programmers that can reprogram these boards using the SPI header. You would need to send your board to us for programming
